
Robert McAndrew – Assistant Vice President, Investments – Welltower
Rob McAndrew is Assistant Vice President – Investments at Welltower Inc. and is responsible for underwriting, transaction structuring and management, and asset management in the seniors housing and medical office sectors. He joined Welltower in 2015 as an Associate and has been the lead analyst or lead deal runner on over $6.0 billion in acquisitions, dispositions, and developments during his five years at the company.
Mr. McAndrew joined Welltower from The Andersons Inc. where he was responsible for strategic analysis of corporate commodity risk and management of a 22,000 rail car portfolio. Prior to The Andersons, he worked for UBS, The Bank of Nova Scotia, and Freepoint Commodities in New York City as a commodity trader specializing in trading proprietary strategies in North American power and natural gas markets. He holds a bachelors degree in computer science from MIT and earned his MBA at The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
